When is Nearshore right for my organization?

What happens if we are not satisfied with a developer?

Do you also offer DevOps services?

You can join us for a full-time DevOps hiring for your projects. We additionally offer our customers the opportunity to DevOps as a service purchase from us. Many customers do not require full-time DevOps but see the need for it within their projects. You can purchase this from us on an hourly contract per month basis. DevOps as a service is more expensive than hiring full-time DevOps, though.

What kind of DevOps specialists do you have on the DevOps team?

Do you offer any services for Quality Assurance?

You can hire a full-time QA Engineer from us for your projects. Don’t need full-time QA? You can then choose QA as a service. You can purchase this from us on an hourly contract per month basis. QA as a service does tend to be more expensive than hiring full-time QA.

What do you relieve me of?

PROBEGIN unburdens its customers with the HR and Recruitment process. We do not unwind on risk and progress of projects because we do not take your project fixed fee. So we make sure that you always have the right people working in your project, that they work on the tasks you give them.

How does the vacation service work?

You may choose to hire people from our vacation service pool hire to ensure continuity of your projects. You do need to indicate this well in advance so that we can make sure you get replacement. How do you put together my team?

What services does PROBEGIN not offer?

We do not offer fixed fee projects to and do not traditionally work on a project basis. This is best done through a Digital Agency have it done. The nuance here lies mainly in the fact that we don’t want to conceive and develop and build your project for a fixed fee. This is a different business model where there is a higher hourly rate and a different approach to work. The risks of the projects lie with us at a higher project hourly rate and we want to avoid mixing up the models. We have therefore chosen to focus purely on nearshore with our services, because we are the best at it.

What is the minimum team size at PROBEGIN?

You can work from 1 FTE come to us. If you purchase 1 developer, but also need assistance for DevOps and Quality assurance, you can hire those disciplines separately starting at 16 hours per week. So this is only possible if you are already hiring at least 1 FTE on a Nearshore basis.

What is the difference between hiring a freelancer and nearshore from PROBEGIN?

A freelancer must have at least 3 clients per year and this does lead to some not so nice situations. Consider conflicts of interest, priority conflicts, and limited availability when needed. In addition, it is hourly rate a lot higher than at Nearshore. For a good freelancer, you’ll quickly pay € 90 up to € 120 per hour.
Hiring freelancers obviously has its advantages, just as Nearshore has its pros and cons. PROBEGIN’s developers do not work for other clients and the cooperation is focused on the long term. This allows us to continuity guarantee, especially in situations of illness, vacation or change of specialist. We provide the same quality specialists between the € 30 and € 55 Euro per hour.

Financial
What is the hourly rate of your developers?

Our rates start at €30,- per hour for a junior and go up to €55,- per hour for an experienced senior. Rates are adjusted 1 time per year if the programmer performs well and grows in his or her career. Inflation and development of the specialist is charged 1 to 1.

What investments should I make for my development team?

If you are not a product owner in your organization, you will need to invest in this. You can also outsource this role to us as a specialist, however, this does not alter the fact that you remain responsible for the direction and management of your projects. You don’t need to make any further investments.

What is the cost of setting up a team?

You do not incur any additional costs For setting up your team. There are no hidden costs. It is an all inclusive fee per hour.

Are there any costs if I decide to cancel the partnership?

No. You always calculate everything hourly off at a full-time commitment. The hourly rate includes all of our costs, including vacations and vacation hours for the developer. If you have temporarily less work, you can reduce the size of the team. You can change this once a year and it will not affect the duration of the agreement. There is a 2 month waiting period when changing team size.

What happens to hours not worked?

What happens to overtime?

We are responsible for providing specialists on your open positions. This means that you outsource a work spot to us and we make sure it is always occupied. If a developer decides to work somewhere else, we will provide a replacement. If a developer becomes ill for an extended period of time or is pregnant, we will provide a temporary replacement.

What happens when a developer is sick?

What happens if my developer takes longer to complete a task than initially thought?
